July "HOOT"

The HOOT will be Saturday--- July 17 at the Tabor Opera House in Leadville at 12:00 noon. Joining us will be ladies from the Leadville Chapter, Red Hat Ladies of the High Country. Sharon Bland is their Princess of Parties who also works at the Opera House. Together our chapters will enjoy one of the historic "Strike it Rich" teas. We will share tables with the High Country ladies; some from each chapter at each table. Baby Doe's coin purse and last two dollars, handwritten letter and pencil have been donated. The donor will tell a little bit about them and then Baby Doe herself may join us for a few minutes. After the presentation we will partake of the tea which will include scones, clotted cream, marmalade, tea sandwiches etc. Yum! Afterwards, there will be some introductions and we’ll get a special tour of Baby Doe’s Rags to Riches rooms. Should be fun to get to know our sister group in Leadville. And you never know… there may be some surprises along the way…we are still working on details.
The cost is normally $15, but Sharon has graciously offered us a $3 discount on tickets. Of course we can meet and carpool from Howard Hall.
However, I need to know by June 29 how many are definitely coming. Seating is very limited and we must reserve early.
So please help me out and let me know asap if you want to attend.

Meet at Howard Hall by 9:45am to car pool to Leadville, and when you send in your RSVP please let QMS Sherree know if you will be car pooling or not, we do NOT want to leave anyone behind.
Please be courteous and RSVP even if you are not going to be able to make it.

The "HOT LIPS Dessert Mania" and lunch was held at the Salida Golf Club Bar & Grill. We played a game to choose a dessert, You had to be careful someone didn't steal your away from you. Also played Red Hat Bingo for 3 Centerpieces. Thanks Kari, Great Fun!
