June 16, 2007 - Our Float in the FIBARK Parade, Salida, CO

June 14, 2007 we all met at Patricia's house in Salida, CO at 10am to decorate our Red Hat float for the FIBARK Parade.

We stopped for lunch on Patricia's great patio setting, some of the ladies went out for a sandwich while others brown bagged it. And Patricia served up the best dessert of "Strawberry Shortcake"

After Lunch--- we finished up and covered the float with plans to meet back there on Saturday at 7am to finish decorating the truck & to set up & decorate Helen's horse & the 4 wheeler & trailer for the "Pooper Scooper"

The Parade! --- Now the fun begins!

At 7am on June 16, 2007, Parade Day--the crew arrived to finish the decorating and to get
in the line-up & wait for the parade to start. We didn't take the prize home, (but we were told that we should have!) but everyone had fun! Especially throwing the 50 pounds of candy,
I bet we made a hit with the local Dentists! Hee-Hee!

See you all for the decorating and participation in the 4th of July parade! on Wednesday at noon to decorate the float and 4pm Parade and meet after to dis-mantle it!
