Lunch at Bandera's Cafe in Howard, CO -Hoot!
(May 17, 2007)
|
The table was dressed with Green table covers & Frances Gordon had made everyone a red candy dish filled with treats, and she had flowers set on the table.
For Dessert Frances made a "Birthday Cake" for Ruth Cortese that looked like a Hat! It was almost to cute to cut & eat! But we managed to demolish it anyway along with plenty of Ice Cream
Sorry you couldn't make it to the Party Ruth, we missed you. And "Happy Birthday!"
!QMS had on display the items that will be used on the float in the upcoming parades. And more discussion was held on the float plans.
After Lunch--- the fun began!
QMS with the help of our "Picky Pinky" - aka Kari brought in some 1800's clothing, guns, pistols, rifle & shotgun. The girls had a ball putting on the different costumes and holding the different 1800's firearms and posing for photos! (un-beknown to them--- but they are going to be used in a program handout and stories that will be given out at the June Hoot that Kari is doing.)
Lunch was really great and we couldn't have ever asked for better service! Thank You Teresa & Dave!
THANK YOU Frances Gordon for planning this "Hoot", AND it really was a "HOOT"!,
