August "HOOT"

So sorry I missed the trip to BV & lunch at the Global Garage and the Goat Farm, I really wanted to be there, but I had a sudden attack of diverticulitus, 4am & lasted for over 2 days.
Our July “HOOT” is going to be cancelled this year, Boo-Hoo! Due to so many of us being involved in Family events and the Holidays.
The day of the August “HOOT” will also be changed this year to Saturday, August 15th instead of our Thursday. And it will be a picnic in Canon City with the rest of the Fremont County Red Hat groups. They are getting together again this year and planning their annual picnic in Canon City. I attended this last year and it was a real blast! It will be a really great time for us to get to know some of our Red Hat Sisters!
As usual we will meet at Howard Hall and car-pool to Canon City. I will send more details on this as they are known to me, but mark this on your calendar, Saturday August 15th For a really FUN time!
Please be courteous and R.S.V.P. Even if you are NOT going to be able to make it!

The "Traveling Hat"
The hat will be awarded to anyone who does something exceptional--funny, courageous, etc.
with HATTITIDE--- of course!!!
It is starting out as a very plain, unadorned hat. Each person who wins the hat gets to embellish it with ONE thing: a ribbon, a pin, flower, fruit, figurine, ANYTHING that will fit on the hat. The winner wears it to all events or “Hoot” and when she decides on the next winner, she selects that next winner, and passes it on at the next event or “Hoot”!

P.S. Last year I thought some one had stolen my boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept.
Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.
